MemberWell now this is interesting. I changed everything on my actual site, removed the headline/featured code as well, but my site hasn't changed at all. It doesn't even recognize that I removed the headline/featured area. Any thoughts? I thought it wasn't picking up the myslider.php but it's in the right spot and it doesn't make sense as to why it still is showing the Headline/Featured even though I deleted the code.
I thought it was because of the update to Wordpress 3.0 but the test blog was updated and it's working fine.

your actual site looks 'unmodified' indeed.
How do you edit the t5emplate files?
I mean doing this in the theme editor seems sometimes not to work.
I personally edit all files on a copy of my files on the server. This copy is on my pc and I upload changed files via ftp (filezilla)So if not done already copy at least your arthemia folder from the site to your pc and check if index.php is really changed
I can see however that you load the Javascript for the slider in header.php, so this code is in place as well as the 'ui slider css stuff' in style.cssI am almost sure your index.php was not changed, no idea why.

MemberWell sure enough it was that simple. I was editing the files through the Dashboard of Wordpress, but it wasn't changing the actual index.php at all. Which is just weird because I've changed code there before and it's worked like a charm.
Editing the index.php through cPanel has fixed it.
Thanks again for the quick replies and being so patient with me. You're an amazing person!
